Portland Bound!

On our way to Portland we stopped at the Mt. St. Helens visitors center. We watched a film on how it blew up back in 1980. It was very interesting...but sad. We didn't drive all the way up to it but I pulled over to take a photo of it. We had a wonderful time meeting up with some friends of ours who drove up from Klamath Falls, Oregon and met us half way.

I took this photo a couple of years ago from an airplane. You can
totally see where the right side slid off.

On A Road Trip With The Larster!!

Yesterday, we headed South for Tacoma. Our main goal was to see the Le May Car Museum. We enjoyed it very much. I took lots of photos of cars and hood ornaments. Lar was in seventh heaven!

Pumpkin's With My Punkins!

I met up with my daughter and two granddaughter's to go to the pumpkin patch. We enjoyed an apple slushy as we walked around the fields. Yum yum!!

Crazy goat...trying to get a piece of corn on the ground
He stuck his neck under the fence going for it!!

A Brisk Stroll Through the Woods!!

It was a crisp 38 degrees this morning but the sky was crystal clear. I got ready, grabbed my camera and headed for the woods behind where we live. Besides my hour walk I took a few photos after I was finished. I loved hearing the crunch of the leaves under each step I took, the crisp air, as well as the the smell of the great outdoors. There is just something about a morning out in nature. I loved it!
